Perfection can take time. From initial consultation, it generally takes 3-4 days for our designers to generate the 3D render of the design agreed in the initial consultation.
From there, we work with you to refine the small details, allowing 3 iterations of the initial render presented.
Once the design is finalised, we will place the official order and process payment.
Production timeframes vary depending on the design. Generally speaking, we suggest allowing 4-8 weeks to design the perfect piece.
During peak periods delivery timeframes may take longer, such as the December and Easter holidays in Australia
Pricing will vary depending on your design. Our team will provide you with a quote with the design render.
Your initial consultation is complimentary.
To begin the 3D render process, we require an upfront payment of A$100. This amount is fully deducted from the final cost of your piece when you decide to proceed with the final order.
Once an order is placed, we require a 30% deposit to commence production. The remainder is due upon completion of your design.
However, please get in touch if you prefer different payment terms. Our DÉSIR Concierge service is designed specifically for you, so our payment terms can be too.

Cultured (or commonly known as lab grown) diamonds offer a modern alternative to traditional mined diamonds. We offer both options. Our team are available to help you make an informed decision and understand which option best suits your needs.
Cultured diamonds are created in a laboratory environment that mimics the natural formation of diamonds made in the earth using extreme pressure, intense heat and cutting edge technology. Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond.
So which one is right for you? The answer ultimately lies with your personal priorities and values. Regardless of your choice, we can cater for both and ensure we only work with suppliers who source responsibly.

All diamonds over 1.0ct will come with a grading report upon request. Please note this may incur in an additional charge.
Authenticity cards can be requested on any of our designs. A $25 AUD fee will be charged for diamonds less than 1.0ct.
We are currently an online only store. All consultations are held virtually via our online booking service.
However, we hold regular pop up events to showcase our designs in person. Join our mailing list or get in touch at bonjour@desirstudio.com to find out when our next event is.
We understand things change. Let our team know as soon as possible if you would like to see a different design concept.
Depending on the changes required, it will be up to the designers discretion to determine if the design process is required to be restarted. We’ll work with you to ensure the final piece reflects your vision, but significant changes may require a new process.
